Todays NYTimes had this article in the magazine section. Apparently, this particular Hasidic movement prays for the leader of the Lubavitch sect to return (the high Rabbi has been dead for 9 years). This Messianic sects history reminded me so much of the first century christians that I will just put the address up because you have got to read this!

There are quotes from those who have left the sect because the whole 2nd coming is so ridiculous to them. It's a thought provoking article.
