I just can't keep my mouth shut...
I was told on the weekend of a person who has been studying for a long time and finally made the commitment to be baptized. How do they know this.....he shaved off his beard which he has had for forty years. His beard covered a small growth on his neck and he always kept it nice and trim..looked great on him.
Anyway I asked what publication points out that beards should not be worn...of course I know there are none specifically. I then asked... I hope there is some counsel on this from the governing body using the scriptures because otherwise it would be a verbal tradition of men....ouch.
