Brother Rando is a student of Prophecy and one of Jehovah's Witnesses. His interests are directed towards how the time of the end would come about. His Goal is to educate the public that Jehovah Witnesses have accepted the Sacrifice in Christ, whose Blood was shed for many as a ransom and exercise faith in 'Jesus Christ' for salvation. (Romans 10:9)

Free eBook about the 144,000 being God's temple, New Jerusalem, or Body of Christ.

    • The Body of Christ began to be collected on Pentecost 33 CE.
    • Pentecost happened on 33 CE + 2000 yrs = 2033 CE the third day begins 2034. Not all anointed will be heavenly at this point but you can apply other scriptures during the Last Days of this Age as they come to their End:

But the bible doesn't support the JWS's interpretation of the 144,000

The number 144,000 appears three times in the Book of Revelation:

    • Revelation 7:3–8:

saying: "Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of God on their foreheads."
And I heard the number of the sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:
12,000 from the tribe of Judah were sealed,
12,000 from the tribe of Reuben,
12,000 from the tribe of Gad,
12,000 from the tribe of Asher,
12,000 from the tribe of Naphtali,
12,000 from the tribe of Manasseh,
12,000 from the tribe of Simeon,
12,000 from the tribe of Levi,
12,000 from the tribe of Issachar,
12,000 from the tribe of Zebulun,
12,000 from the tribe of Joseph,
12,000 from the tribe of Benjamin were sealed.[1]

    • Revelation 14:1:

Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.[2]

    • Revelation 14:3–5:

and they were singing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and before the elders. No one could learn that song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. It is these who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. It is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These have been redeemed from mankind as firstfruits for God and the Lamb, and in their mouth no lie was found, for they are blameless.[3]

Br. R: where do you get the 2000 from?

Rm: there are 12 "from s" or "out of s" in that passage. and what has that to do with a partner monopoly?

The information is in the Bible.

"However, do not let this escape your notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day." (2 Peter 3:8)

that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day." (2 Peter 3:8)

BroR: all that means is that the deity does not move through time at the same rate as we do*, can be faster, can be slower, James chapter one, no turning of the clock hands (or sundial) for the creator. and

where do you get the 2 days = 730 000 days from then?

    * fies do move through time much faster, that is why you can rarely catch one with you hand.

The Fulfillment of Prophecies are 'timed events'. They have a Beginning and an End to them which covers a specific time period. Knowing such dates of a prophecy once revealed to those who are being ministered to, does not necessarily beget salvation. It doesn't give a person divine protection or extraordinary insight but it may make a person more accountable to Jehovah.” One would need to walk by faith... Prophecies regarding Jesus Christ was a timeline of a day was actually a year.

Let's assume that this somehow proves Jehovah's Witnesses are the one true religion. How do you feel about their other official teachings such as:

    - not publishing independent literature

    - not forming independent doctrinal ideas &

    - not posting on "apostate" forums?

  • Jeffro

The Bible doesn't say much about the 144,000, and what little it does say is not consistent with what Jehovah's Witnesses say about it.

A prophesy only has value to the person or persons to whom the prophesy is told. A prophesy should have one interpretation and should be easy to be understood by all to whom the prophesy is told. A so-called prophesy that can be interpreted in various ways, or for which the audience is unspecified or for which the start is unspecified is actually is like a maze to its readers or audience. You start somewhere and have no idea where the exit is. Useless. Religions stepped in as guides in the maze and many people follow them, walking around and around with the hope to find the exit of maze but have no idea how, and where. Many of those religious guides will not allow anyone to interfere with or influence their role as guides. They believe they are the only guide that can find the exit.

Brother Rando appears to be a pompous windbag. Only pompous windbags refer to themselves in the third person.

At least FFGhost thinks so. And FFGhost is never wrong.
