For an allegedly "international brotherhood," the lack of real diversity is really quite telling.

Why exactly would "diversity" have any meaning or value?
Would it look more or less "suspicious" if there was an exact distribution of races / ethnicities in theirs or any other group?

If you check in the old Golden Age magazines of the late 20s (or maybe it was the Consolation mags of the 30s...), you will find articles that promote dried foods as being the miracle food for the "new millennium". Apparently that is how all the people who survived Armageddon were going to be fed.
