If the "slave" said it, it must be true!

w72 10/15 p. 629 par. 5 - The Long Waiting in Hope Soon to End:

“Just as surely as the foretold globe-encircling flood came in the days of the righteous preacher Noah, just as surely as the foretold destructions of ancient Jerusalem came in the days of Jehovah’s prophets and of the apostles of Jesus Christ, just so surely this foretold world-wrecking tribulation will come - in our own generation.”

(Would that be an overlapping generation or just a normal everyday one?)

(Deuteronomy 18:21, 22) “How will we know that Jehovah has not spoken the word?” When the prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah and the word is not fulfilled or does not come true, then Jehovah did not speak that word. The prophet spoke it presumptuously. You should not fear him.’

    J.W.'s, did you notice = NOT x 5

What do you mean by the expression

    NOT x 5?

  • ElderEtta

Oops I see it now you counted the not words in Deuteronomy which total 5 occurrences that makes sense

  • Tenacious

The March 2018 JW Broadcast has that maggot Losch repeating the word "trust" over 100 times in his little speech.

These cockroaches know the psychology and manipulation behind repetition.

Was it Goebels who said 'people would sooner believe a lie if heard six times than the truth heard once'..

and you left out, 'Its therefore obvious" and "we conclude' and i think 'apparently' gets a run as well.
