How does it start out as we are told?
WIll you be able to live where you want? NO
Will you be able to do the work you want? NO
Are you still subject to men on earth to tell you what to do (i.e. the dukes and princes) YES
Are you still one mistake away from being killed? YES
Do you have to watch everything you do say and think? YES
I could go on and on.
I've said this before, and I'll say it again...
...if the WTS were given control of a small country tomorrow, within a decade free speech and freedom of religion would be nonexistent, any form of alternative sexual expression would be outlawed, creationism would be mandated in schools, science and medicine would be at a standstill, disfellowshipped individuals would be imprisoned or deported, and "apostates" would sentenced to death without possibility of appeal or reprieve.
Now picture a regime like that encompassing the entire planet.
Indefinitely.
