A question about the spikey graph thing in our profiles . . .
When I tap on the tip of a spike a blue or red bullet point appears depending on whether the spike relates to topics or posts.
What's that all about? Is there a way of interacting with this graph that I haven't fathomed? Am I unnecessarily concerned over minutiae?
Should I just have another glass of wine? SIMON!!!!
hmm, just me then . . .
Interesting, it becomes solid when clicking, but no type of info shows up when right or left clicking. Hmmm Looks like it might be something to eventually give a specific date for the spike? Just a guess.
The graph was intended to be a quick view of whether someone was a long time poster and how much they posted. The plan was to have a mini version in the popup card that appears when you hover over someone's avatar but I didn't really put much effort into it. The highlight dot should really popup with the actual post numbers. Again, it wasn't finished as I will be investing the time into a different set of libraries in vNext..
Thanks Simon, keep working that magic . . .
erm ... "Experiamus!" (turns himself into a newt)
I'm liking the idea Simon. No pressure here to speed up the process, I know you do it all on your own unpaid time. That you for your gifts to us of your time and talents. The value you bring is priceless.
Do you have a gofundme site for anyone who would like to pitch in, with any amount of funding, to help you with your time and efforts with this page? If not I think it would be a nice thing to have, just for those who benefit from this forum who desire to do so.
Not like a solicitation of course, just a place to offer up for those who would like to donate. I am sure there are some who would. I personally think it should be created, ( if not already created and I just don't know about it). :-)
I do wish I had even a fraction of your skills in creating an internet forum. You amaze me.
