My mom just texted to tell me she stopped in Anniston Alabama with my two daughters to eat some supper before coming home from my cousins house. I can never think of Anniston Alabama anymore without thinking of Ray Franz and all that he went through, and how very close I was to being in the same placiue he was at the same time and I didn't even know it

It's about 30 miles south of Gadsden. Yeah, I know 2 of the JC members who DF him. When I gave Public Talks in the 90's down that way, I would hear first hand accounts from those who had experiences related to Ray Franz, Willie Anderson, Felix and Earl Parnell, Theotis French, Bobby Rogers and others.

I was at Jacksonville State in 1981. We drove into Anniston frequently.
My aunt in Gadsden.
I was as clueless back then.
