getting back here, getting on to some FB groups and reading stories, meeting new people it's mind blowing the callous crap that these men are allowed to get away with. i mean i get that religion in general can be considered bad all around, but I have friends who are religious and no, none of them have seen this type of callous disregard for humanity come from religion. Not on this level.
it's heartbreaking. I'm lucky. I had two of my kids before I left, a non-JW husband w non-JW family. I struggled, sure. But i had support.
So many of these people flat out don't have support.
This is just wrong on so many levels.
To those of you who are struggling to get through, questioning and scared....
You're not alone. You are so not alone.
Reach out and look for a local group. For those who simply can't.... I'm so glad that this place exists.
