  Yes indeed those Auxiliary pioneers dropping by one third and those baptisms by over one fifth tell a story.

  Missed out pioneer figure. Worldwide was up a bit.

  Somebody said there weren't as many special campaigns to recruit auxiliary pioneers in 2015. Might explain the dramatic fall off.

  The average publisher increase has got to be a bit depressing for JWs. At this rate it may well be a negative growth figure next year for Britain.

  Regular pioneer numbers were up worldwide, but not Aux Pioneers. Here's a comparison of the numbers since 2010.

  More important than the numbers are the hours - how many pioneers do just enough to qualify / satisfy the requirements vs have a real zeal for the work?

  How many hours are required now?

  In 2014 they had a special month (April or May, I forget) which allowed only 30 hours to aux pioneer. It was a new initiative, and in our congregation loads of people did it, something like 70 out of 120 publishers. The repeat of the same thing in 2015 had much less response. I think this would explain a lot of the drop off in aux pioneers in 2015.

  Of course lowering the bar increases the statistics, but eventually they will run out of options.

  As many have commented, most of the new baptisms will be the children of JW's. The d2d and cart work are nothing but tokens to the mantra of 'ministry'.

  It's the 30 something's that will decide whether the WTBTS survives or not. The more young Mum's and Dad's who become disillusioned and step off the treadmill, the faster the decline will spiral as they take their children with them.

  The only zeal I see within the JWS is the zeal to acquire money. $$$$$$$$$$$
  

  Its like the leaders of this relgoius organization have come into the realization that the organization was founded upon false intervening doctrines, so now they are just trying sustain the organization to serve their own means, their personal lifestyle

  Because I'm not sure what "Britain" is in jw terms.

  Politically Great Britain and Northern Ireland make up the United Kingdom.

  Great Britain is England, Scotland and Wales

  Britain (used much less formally) is England and Wales combined.

  Ireland is usually the Republic of Ireland (sometimes called Southern Ireland) excluding Northern Ireland

  But I believe in JW Land that Britain is England, Scotland and Wales and that Ireland is Northern and Southern Ireland combined.

  So "Britain" in this post means whatever Britain is in JW Land!
