Obama is a 'lame duck' president, nothing he says about future policy at this point in time, like putting the UK to the back of queue, means anything. Especially if the Democrats fail to win the election.

Vidiot-He is a 'lame duck' president because he is in the few months of his last term. He no longer has the power to hold over the heads of the senate or the house, as he will soon be replaced. It is a term used here in the USA to refer to a sitting president in Obama's position. It is not a rude term.
