Some Comments On Facebook From Some Of My Relatives After Leaving EU

Everyone talking about leaving the EU, I am concerned and excited. Mostly I look forward to seeing bible prophecy coming true and I keep my mum in the forefront of my mind.

    Me too sis!

We left EU. The Anglo-American bond will weaken. Toes of clay of Daniel's image is getting weaker and weaker and more fragmented as prophesied, yayyy! If Trump is President it will be even worse! Prophecy fulfilled for sure xx

These comments are from 3 different people, two of whom are related to me.

I stopped following the witnesses I knew on Facebook because their comments annoyed me so much and I couldn't reply which is very frustrating. My daughter who thankfully is no longer a witness, pointed these comments out to me. She too wanted to comment but didn't want to cause trouble so she didn't say anything.

The person who wrote the original comment has a sibling who is no longer a witness, who is not disfellowshipped but living with someone. They also openly celebrate xmas and birthdays and don't hide this on facebook. None of the family shun this person because they are not disfellowshipped and they openly socialise with this person and their partner (I wonder if this will change after the coming assembly).

They put comments like this on and look forward to Armaggeddon knowing that many of us don't believe this anymore and that we will read these comments. Believing that those of us who don't believe what they do will die a horrible death and they get excited about it.

    Sick!

I thought social media like Facebook was a no no for witnesses, it was once, how times change. What sad lives to lead to do it thru social media and what drivel they appear to put on the page! How have they the spare time to infest Facebook when they should be out advertising The Kingdom. Personally I would no more read their Facebook pages than read the current Botchtower magazine.

I would be tempted to troll them. Like write optimistically we might be heading for financial meltdown or something

Isn't there some "king of the north" thing they still have to work out, or have they wrapped that up somehow? They like to pick and choose prophecy from all over the confused mess of a book that they follow, so it's hard to keep it all straight.

Besides, I thought that 1986 and the year of peace and security was the beginning....errr....Y2k....errr....9/11.....errr.... Hurricane Katrina.....errr.....9/11.....errr....the tsunami in Japan....errr....any big deal ever was the beginning of the end. Nah, they're not doomsday cultists.

I've heard several comments like that about Brexit. These JWs also think (this also after going to the convention) that all the DF'd or inactive ones will want to come back for sure! Bible prophecy being fulfilled! Pathetic. Same craziness after any big event, you'd think they'd realize.

The king of the North? He died !

I think it was season 4, episode 8 - definitely "the Red Wedding".

If you ever go to a wedding and the have a string quartet - be afraid and check where the exits are and keep hold of some cutlery just in case.

That all makes way more sense than the bible mumbo-jumbo and the idiotic interpreting prophesy to fit events. Of what use is prophesy if you can pick what it applies to and keep re-cycling the same one for different events? (all after they happen of course).

The JW.0rg facebook fan page has over 12,000 members.
There are also "hundreds" of JW groups on FB.

So yeah, the counsel not to join social media isn't followed much.

When one reads comments like this it firmly reconfirms the fact how sickly delusional and brainwashed Jehovah's Witnesses are.

    Sad
