Abcnews."heading "Handwriting study finds clues to when Bible texts were written".

The finding contribute to a longstanding debate about when biblical text first began

to be compiled: did it take place before or after the Babylonian siege and destruction

of Jerusalem in 586 BC (not 607 jack ass) and the exile of its inhabitants to Babylon?

Question, why the debate over the time period, what difference does it make????

I think that some stories of the OT came from periods before the Babylonian siege, however, they were tampered and edited by the scribes in the time of Ezra. And of course, the book of Daniel is a forgery of the second century before Christ.

This was interesting ," A high level of literacy would support the idea that some biblical

texts had already been authored by this time. The Dead Sea Scroll, the oldest known

collection of certain biblical texts, are believed to date several centuries later."

    Thanks opusdei 1972.

For instance, it is believed that the story of Genesis in which the world is created in 6 days was invented to support the theological doctrine about the Sabbath. The same seems to be happened with some other doctrines, they were placed as received by Moses, in the book of Exodus, so as to support later policies invented by scribes.

The Study does not prove the historicity of the stories in the Book of Exodus, for instance. It only suggests that there could be manuscripts before the Babylonian siege because there was literacy, but, as we can observe, different and contradictory stories were compiled to form the first five books of the Bible.

I seriously doubt the scribes made the creation story to justify the shabbat when they didn't even know its true meaning. They took pride in the practice, but not the actual meaning of the rest. And the Laws of Moses was actually not something to be proud of needing to get, Israel was totally botched coming out of Egypt and needed to be forced into a contract that would hopefully guide them into being just in heart and spread it to other nations.

The ancient language was written pictorally, so even with that, there are meanings within meanings. For example, Abraham's name is Strength Leader of Waters.

Daniel is very doubtful to be a forgery, it attempts to trace a nationality of wicked rule to the end times. I've been studying frantically to make sure it's the family of man I think it is, it seems right on the money.

The problem is, when the bad guy gets a hold of the story that tells him he is the bad guy, when he thinks he's the good guy, will he be able to properly determine the story?
