I remember at the kingdom hall I was treated differently because I wasn't baptzed and my god I was over 18, and people always questioned me why I sat at the back of the hall. My answer was "Why are there chairs there if no one should sit there?". The look I got from the elder. And even when I put my hand up at the Watchtower Study I was always overlooked.

Are they that many divisions and cliques still at the Kingdom Hall ???

Are JW's put into a category and they don't even know it ???

I guess like my brother always said "either you fit in or you don't, not much you can do about it."

How dare you make the microphone handler walk to the back of the hall . Oh yeah they put everyone in different categories , You have the zealots and the spiritually challenged the good studies and the demonized ones and who the hell knows what else.

Of course you were categorized. We all were. That's what people do. It happens in "polite" society, and "real" society, why should it be any different in religious society? We're all just humans. It shouldn't have happened in a place where all were said to be on equal turf, but then no one's on equal turf when they are human. It happens in the streets, and it happens in churches. Those that are liked, are liked. Some can get away with more because of breeding, blood, and money, some less. What makes them different? If they are God's chosen people, well you'd expect it to be less there. But you know they're not, so it's not any different than in real life. There's the Donald Trumps, and the Bill Gates, and the Janis Joplins, and the Billy Grahams. It's all the same. Same book, different chapter. So why talk about it?

Oh yes...I was categorized as "bad association", purely because of my nasty habit of asking 'questions', when I should have been blindly accepting whatever was said by whoever was saying it at the time.

Unfortunately, this is a habit I still carry with me to this very day. Sheesh!

SYN, why didn't we go to the same cong? Drat, I would have loved someone else to sit in the same bad corner as I did, for asking questions....
