Hello. I was wondering if any of you might know where I might find a cd copy of the Blackhawk Waltz. Any fans of obscure waltz songs out there?

I mean, it ain't no polka but it'll do! I can't find it in any stores locally so it looks like I'm ordering it online!

detective, it wasn't exactly what you were looking for but on Amazon.com they had an audiotape for sale with President Truman playing this particular waltz. Weird, huh?
Blondie (it's considered a folk song)
Blondie,
I think the Blackhawk waltz might have had it's heyday in the fifties or so but I'm just guessing. If it isn't Strauss Jr. it isn't in the classical/waltz sections of music stores, it seems. Maybe I should try the polka section ( if they even have one!) Perhaps I'm just looking in the wrong place (I mean, it's not polka but it seems like polka groups might be the only ones who still record it).
I'm trying to get a decent recorded version as a surprise for a family member. The only recording I've heard online so far was pretty painful. Truman's has to be better than that! I'll check out Amazon.com- you never know...
thanks!
