God
Fairy tales that make sheep out of men;
Convinced their existence was
Conceived in sin.
The end of Time and Earth foretold,
Judgment from a god,
On a throne of Gold.
Tales of “sin”, death and Scorn,
And the naked nailed god,
In a crown of thorns.
Prophets that preach,
“Armageddon is Near!”
Prayers and Songs to the god of fear.
An angel of death with golden wings,
All hail the Nailed God!
… A man-made king.
In a manger a “savior” is born.
Hail the naked nailed god
In a crown of thorns.
