Just for fun, I went back 2 years and started to read threads of Aug 2001. Many posters who were there then are still here today. Many also are gone and moved on. I find that wonderful that some are still here though. It's also striking how some changed and evolved from being a JW to XJW.
Going back in time like this and reading certain threads is like watching a person heal in fast forward.
Do you ever read threads that were posted years ago?
I will read them but its usually by way of reading the posting history on someone........
I did that when I was a lurker. I learned so much from those old posts. Like you said it was revealing how I could follow the healing process of certain ones. It was a great comfort to me to see that I would not have to stay confused and lonely. I could grow and heal from the effects of finding out the truth about the so called truth.

I still think it's bizarre that all of my posts prior to Sept. 2001 are missing... I can't remember what I wrote back then - my memory is slipping.
