This is another head scratcher for me. Why on earth did they choose the name of the city that represented false religion in the Bible?

I'm a bit agnostic on whether or not WT shares certain similarities with Freemasonry, but I'll keep an open mind. There is that quote by a masonry guy about Russell, but would you believe anything a secret society says about its membership? 🤔🎩🧐
As for Bethel being WT headquarters, I wouldn't be surprised to find Jahbulon somewhere in the literature 🙄. (Just being sarcastic) 😹
