What is the Watchtower so concerned about in the outside world ???
Could it be INFORMATION ?????
they seem to be always giving counsel on apostacy and internet sites, movies and music, drinking, more service more preaching,
Could they start to be feeling a huge falling out, with all the new light crap of late, people nowadays are more open minded and don't necessarily do what their told.
Anyone thinking about entering the borg (or still inside), all you have to do is read their history ...
- Russel started religion in 1879, combining a few religions together
- Rutherford built a mansion for Abraham's return from the dead,
- preached "Millions now living will never die" or may never die, or probaly won't die, well maybe.
- Rutherford claimed heavens doors closed in 1935 ??????? think about it, he thought this one out well, suckered in a lot of people. Now that they have all but died off, the Watchtower looks stupid.
- endless times the Watchtower stated and I quote " it is very unlikely we will see the 21st century, did not further education with the end so close." (1960-1980's)
- changed their most accepted doctrine of 1914, "this generation will by no means pass away"
- really pushed in a round about way that something big was going to happen in 1975.
- how many people hung around for decades because they really believed it.
- UN was more or less Satan at work, yet they join up with them from 1991-2003, and give a BS excuse. How many times we heard at the meetings that Armageddon will start with the UN.
Any new person thinking about joining (or leaving) just has to read a DETAILED history on the JW's and realizes pretty quick, what a bunch of garbage.
How many new people are they getting in off the street these days ??? not counting kids being born.
I guess they will always find some in dyer straits, who will think they found something wonderful, but not many.
