What do hemphiliac JWs do? They must have blood tranfusions to live, so how does the Society work with them?

No they don't have blood transfusions.

hemophiliacs suffer from their blood not being able to clot, so they can bleed to death from even a minor cut or internal injury.

They need to take I think it is called "Factor 8" which is the clotting agent in blood. This at one time was forbidden for JW hemophiliacs because it is made from blood.

But that all changed some time ago and they are allowed to take it now. As are many other blood fractions allowed.

How did the society deal with them? Well, until the mid-seventies, the Society graciously allowed them to die while upholding their idea of God's will.

Then, they decided that all those who had died for lack of factor 8 & 9, didn't really need to die at all, so they started allowing the blood fractions.

Shortly after, the blood supply was compromised by the undetected AIDS virus. This had only a small effect on persons who had blood transfusions, since the risk of infection was very small. However, hemophiliacs were at a tremendous risk, because their preparations were made out of large quantities of blood. God looked out for these loyal hemophiliacs by allowing them access to their medications just at the time when it was at its peak risk.

Witness hemophiliacs have been living in the worst of all possible health care worlds - denied treatment when it was safe, and granted treatment just as it became dangerous.

Yes, the teaching of God's "mouthpiece" is indeed a safeguard.
