I just Wonder how the elders see the cart witnessing They Always want to show CO when he comes to visit how congregation covers the territory. But there must be a great problem with that now as pioneers prefer sitting drinking coffee beside a cart.

So Pioneers now can sit down having coffee manning or womanning a cart not talk to any non witnesses and then at the end of the month put in a report that they spent 60 hours or whatever it is now witnessing for Jehovah about Christs Kingdom ,when in fact they spoke to no one outside of their own faith who dropped by.

Have they no conscience lying to their God ?

Smiddy they will say "people know who we are so by just being visible we are making Jehovah's name known".

This is what they used to say when I asked what was the point of knocking on empty doors.

And what Jehovah`s Witnesses fail to realize is that Christendom has known and made the name Jehovah around the world since the 13th Century .

Raymundus Martinus a spanish Monk came up with that name translating the four Hebrew letters of the Tetragrammaton into latin as JHVH and added some vowels and presto ...Jehovah.

The name has been in Christian literature ever since the 13th Century and is engraved on numerous Churches throughout Christendom all over the world incl. Europe ,South America ,and even here in Australia.

C.O.'s and their wives must envy the pioneers' laid back ministry - no walking around for hours on end knocking on doors, getting no reply, getting abuse, or getting abject apathy.

@ smiddy - JW's should also be grateful to "Christendom" for providing them with the collated scriptures, (Bible) the marriage ceremony & its rituals & traditions, and last but not least, the wonderful "new light" that there is no such thing as the "evil slave." What a relief that must have been for the publishers!
