...Is there such a thing? I had a sip of the best Irish whisky I've ever run across at the Ancient Ways festival. A nice lady brought a jug to share. It was a little sweeter than other Irish whiskeys, much smoother, and had a ravishing "nose". I can't find any reference to it on the web.
The lady who brought it announced it as "my friend, John McClymonds", but the next morning everyone swore up and down it was Tullamore Dew. Yet there was a bottle of the latter going around, and it tasted more like the Bushmills I'm used to, not like the nectar in the old-fashioned jug.
I'm all clueless here.
