When explaining their child abuse policy, they state:

Our procedures have been refined over time. Over the years, as we have noted areas where our policies could be strengthened, we have followed through. We are continuing to refine them. We do not believe that our system is perfect. No human organization is perfect. But we do believe that we have a strong, Bible-based policy on child abuse. Anyone in a responsible position who is guilty of child abuse would be removed from his responsibilities without hesitation. We certainly would not knowingly allow him to serve elsewhere, either because he moved or through a transfer.

So it is obvious, that they are just another human organization...

They only freely admit that when they cannot deny horrible things like child molestation. When it comes to biblical understanding, the WTS viewpoint is as good as God's.

And anyone making an accusation of child abuse/molestation will be subject to a star chamber interrogation by Wal-Mart cheese cracker men with imaginary divinely sanctioned authority, and if they can't provide a witness to back them up, they will be removed from their family and friends without hesitation, especially if they go to the secular authorities.

    How outsiders read:

Our procedures have been refined over time. Over the years, as we have noted areas where our policies could be strengthened, we have followed through. We are continuing to refine them. We do not believe that our system is perfect. No human organization is perfect

    How a JWs reads it:

Our procedures have been refined over time (new light from God). Over the years (progressing with God's help), as we have noted areas where our policies could be strengthened (light getting brighter), we have followed through (we are humbly following God's direction). We are continuing to refine them. We do not believe that our system is perfect. No human organization is perfect, (even God earthly organization).

    This strikes me as odd:

We do not believe that our system is perfect. No human organization is perfect.

The point is: they don't believe there organization is a human one!

*** w25 3/1 67 Birth of The Nation (nog niet op CD-ROM) *** If there are readers of the WATCHTOWER who can not agree with what is here stated, then it is suggested that such calmly and carefully wait upon the Lord, always keeping a pure heart. We know that the Lord is his own interpreter, that he will interpret his Word to his people in his own good way and in his own due time.

    *** w59 5/1 269 Attain Completeness in the New World Society ***
One obstacle to obedience and submission is the tendency in imperfect humans to pass judgment on the fitness or otherwise of the instructions that come down to them. Instead of accepting these as from Christ through the organization, they debate within themselves, or with others, what they shall do.

*** w57 5/1 281 Trust Your Proved, Faithful Brothers *** Think for a moment. Consider what happened to Saul for disobedience. His neglect in discharging his theocratic assignment to vindicate Jehovah’s word and name brought him a just sentence at the hands of Jehovah’s representative, Samuel. (1 Sam. 15:1-3, 11, 22, 23) Ignoring counsel from headquarters or from the servants in the local congregation is negligence and a sign of disrespect for theocratic authorities. We may take the position that some instructions do not apply to us and may make some mental reservations as to the advisability of carrying them out, even though we might recognize that the suggestions embody sound Scriptural principles. In this way we give only partial support to the organization and the commission to preach "this good news of the kingdom." We may assume that these instructions are only incidentals, that the important thing is ‘bringing the ark of Jehovah up into Jerusalem.’ David learned to his sorrow (and to Uzza’s death) that singing praise to Jehovah and good intentions are not enough to bring the full reward of Jehovah’s blessing. True worship must be performed according to the ordinance of Jehovah, and what might seem like minor details are important if they issue through the channel of God’s organization. — 1 Chron. 13:6-10; 15:11-15.

*** w57 5/1 281 Trust Your Proved, Faithful Brothers ***The rich blessing that has been poured out upon the visible organization is evidence that the governing body and those who represent it are deserving of our full support and trust. This we can demonstrate only by accepting every provision as coming from the Lord through the "faithful and discreet slave".

*** w76 2/15 124 You Must Be Holy Because Jehovah Is Holy ***Will we hesitate in applying counsel, perhaps pondering in our mind as to what we want to do about it? If that would be the case, wouldn’t we really be asking ourselves the question, ‘Do we really want the rulership of God?’ Would not a failure to respond to direction from God through his organization really indicate a rejection of divine rulership?

*** w59 5/1 269 Attain Completeness in the New World Society ***To hold to the headship of Christ, it is therefore necessary to obey the organization that he is personally directing. Doing what the organization says is to do what he says. Resisting the organization is to resist him.

    *** w56 11/1 666 Turn to the New World Society ***
Who controls the organization, who directs it? Who is at the head? A man? A group of men? A clergy class? A pope? A hierarchy? A council? No, none of these. How is that possible? In any organization is it not necessary that there be a directing head or policy-making part that controls or guides the organization? Yes. Is the living God, Jehovah, the Director of the theocratic Christian organization? Yes!

*** w65 6/1 352 Questions from Readers *** but it is all a part of the advancement of Jehovah's theocratically controlled organization under the immediate direction of Jehovah God himself.

They only admit to "imperfection" when something goes wrong. And how many people were hurt before the changes to their policy were made? And even as of now, their policy is still fraught with error, still coming up short in protecting the innocent, while putting them through a basic hell in trying to ascertain whether the accused is "guilty".

If God were directing all this, one would think he'd have gotten this one right from the get-go. Too much is at stake.
