There's an interesting article called "Sex, God & Greed" regarding the prosecution of child abuse cases. The grab line says: "The next litigation gold rush: child sexual abuse. Never mind priests -- the Boy Scouts, day care firms and Hollywood may be next." It's pretty interesting (way more than I can post here) and has the names of some of the lawyers who are in the thick of it, in case some of you are searching for one. Alas, Jehovah's Witnesses are not mentioned, nor is Kimberly Norris, but we always have hope for a follow-up article!

Nina, I read that. I sent a note to the editor to perhaps look at the JWs.

I was really hoping that they would cover all religions and not just the Catholics.

The real *winners* in any of these lawsuits are the attorneys. With fees ranging from 33% - 50% they have the most to win. The more cases, the more money in their pocket.

I guess the jws are such a small, insignificant religious group that they hardly are mentioned.
