Saying we're sorry

When I read this news report this morning I got to wondering if the WTS would even go this far (even if it's not far enough).

Former governor-general Peter Hollingworth has promised to help vulnerable children in his last act as the nation's head of state.

Dr Hollingworth, in an address to the nation, tried to assure the public he was genuinely sorry for the way he had handled a child sex abuse case while archbishop of Brisbane.

Good Thursday morning Ozzie, down below

I got to wondering if the WTS would even go this far (even if it's not far enough).

I doubt that the Watchtower would show any guilt for it's multiple mistakes it made in the past. They rather say that all is ok, and nothing should be fixed.

    That's just it ozzie.

    The Watchtower organization cant apologize.

If they admit they are wrong, then Jehovah's (which is the head of the organization) and his Holy Spirit (which is directly guiding the actions of the organization) would be in error. God allowed his appointed servants to make such grievous mistakes?

They cannot admit that their God is either impotent enough to allow mistakes, or made a mistake himself, when he leads the "only true organization on Earth."

The Watchtower can't apologize without giving up the title of "sole mouthpiece for Jehovah". Such a humbling act would do a world of good for the society, even if it meant severe membership and financial losses. I consider the change of heart at the World-Wide Church of God, and think, it could happen.

They cannot say they are sorry without losing everything that they have.
