I was watching a movie on TV this afternoon...............a British movie called Strange Relations, and starring Paul Reiser, as an adopted man in search of his birth family in England. The Paul Reiser character was holding a large envelope and knocked on a door, in a poor part of town. A woman answered the door, and said "Jesus or Jehovah?" He said "what?" And she said "Mormons or Witnesses?"
That was funny.

Now that we are out of there, we often remind ourselves how we never really gave the respect to Jesus Christ, even adding his name at the end of a prayer ...thro' Jesus amen.. just like a P.S. at the end of a letter.

Yes, she played his birth mother. I enjoyed the movie..................rarely watch movies in the daytime, but I was flipping channels while eating lunch, and got hooked.
There was another line in it too that I'm sure most Americans wouldn't understand. "I'm not wearing my knickers and my fanny is bloody freezing". I almost choked on my salad.
