- Today's WT was a masterly study on how to manipulate the faithful's attitude to the study of facts and truth. In the last CLAM of September we have this justification of a half-truth uttered by Jesus.
Joh 7:8-10 —Did Jesus lie to his unbelieving fleshly brothers? (w07 2/1 6 ¶4)- ...
" Why did he answer that way? They were not entitled to know the exact details of his whereabouts. So while Jesus did not utter an untruth, he gave them an incomplete answer in order to limit the possible harm they could do to him or to his followers. This was not a lie, for the apostle Peter wrote about Christ: “He committed no sin, nor was deception found in his mouth.” —John 7:1-13; 1 Peter 2:22." - Today's WT States:
- "9 Reports that contain half-truths or incomplete information are another challenge to reaching accurate conclusions. A story that is only 10 percent true is 100 percent misleading. How can we avoid being misled by deceptive stories that may contain some elements of truth? —Eph. 4:14."
So, it seems a misleading deception is not a lie or is one depending on who is misleading or being mislead. Hmmm... Why am I not surprised?
The bible may or may not contradict itself, the WT most certainly does.

Yup that's the core long standing propagation which the WTS. publishing house and its executive leaders (GB) have proliferated for over a 100 years.
They alone have accurate and honest truth and interpretation of the bible like no one else does, that's why we call ourselves " The Truth " and every other Christian based faith " False Religion "

They also said not to pass along "negative or unsubstantiated reports," even if it is substantiated you still shouldn't pass it along if it is negative. So, that's why zero people know about the 35 million dollar lawsuit!

They will try to discredit whole stories by finding one or two small inaccuracies, that is the whole point of this quote.

Most of the half truths coming out of JWS now and before was relating to supporting and calculating propaganda .
The action of doing nothing when a sexual predator attacks one of their JWS members and influencing the victims to keep the situation away from local law authorities, is part that self supporting propaganda and that inherent action is starting to come to public attention.
