To all of us on JWN, the ones who have been here a long time, and the ones who are rather new, as you know, May 8th is Mother's Day. And when my mother was still alive and I was in the "truth" and didn't give honor to my mother then during those years (spending time with her, I was out preaching to strangers) I want you all to reflect how much we have in our mothers right here, right now.
My mother died back in the 90's and I have to say, if I had the chance to do it all over again, I would have visited her a lot more than I did, even if I was an active JW. You only have one mother, and when she's gone, that's it, forever.
Now's the time to say you love your mom thru and thru. Grab her, hold her, tell her you love her, and no matter what, you will be there for her. Don't let a silly religion come between you and her if at all possible.
