Hi Brothers/Sisters my name is Victor, recently in move to Dubai for job reasons, during the last 3 weeks I have been trying to find a congregation or brothers to contact with them because I would like to go the meetings and continue my personal study, but I hasn't success.

If anybody here have some contact in the United Arab Emirates or know somebody that have it, I will appreciate a lot that can help me to contact with them.

    Thank you!

Uh.....good luck finding a JW in Muslim countries. Most Muslim run countries restrict or outright BAN other religions. There isn't enough money in the world that would get me to the Middle East or Asia right now. This isn't only due to religious strife, but also the air quality. The 100 worst cities for air quality are in Asia and the Middle East. You're literally taking years off your life by moving there.

Ditto. JWs are under severe restrictions, even if not exactly under ban, in Muslim countries. There is likely not an open meeting to attend. In particular JWs, (I believe this applies to all non-Muslim religions) are not allowed to proselytize, only preach to other non-Muslims with the intent to convert.

A few years ago I was shocked to learn that JW need-greaters were going into Morocco under assumed names, with no support from any JW branch. They were out there totally on their own, taking such risk. Really a bad idea.

It’s funny this is brought up. When I was at Bethel in the 1990s in the “office furniture department” my overseer called me and another guy to his office to take care of a very sensitive project. Lol

We were told we had to move a file cabinet from 30 Columbia Heights to an actual vault in the tunnel of 124 Columbia Heights which is literally down the block.

We were escorted by 4 brothers who handled night security at the 30 Columbia Heights building. The cabinet was duct taped, shrinked wrapped and a chain run through the handles of the cabinet with a lock between the links.

We were told that it contained the records and correspondences of brothers and the congregations records of those in areas the work is banned and under persecution.

Was this march down the block with this cabinet overkill? Definitely, but they took that shit seriously.

Soooooo I doubt there will be anyone willing to give you much info about what you are looking for

This is also a website for FORMER Jehovah’s Witnesses, we are apostates. You may not realize this, we know that this religion is NOT the “truth.”

The best advice I can give you is to go through proper channels: Contact the elders of your old congregation that knows you well so that they may contact bethel in your behalf and provide you with the assistance you need.

Though I don't agree with your religion and its beliefs, I'd fight for your right to believe it.

Its just sad that, like the Muslims, JWs themselves don't believe in freedom of religion: Anyone who was raised a JW (and likely got baptized) is subjected to shunning by their friend and family, that is, their whole social circle, when they stop believing in the religion of their parents.

No way in hell would I out anyone (if I knew) to an unknown person.

If you are serious do not take a bible, WT, book or logo with you. You run the risk of literally losing your head
