Did a little research and found out he was born and raised a Catholic which he says he is now an agnostic, but what he says about religion in general rings true that it can be overtly oppressive.

That’s interesting to hear Joe Rogan call JWs a cult. I bet there are thousands of JWs who listen to Joe Rogan. It must come as a shock to them to hear Joe Rogan casually refer to JW indoctrination as a fact. Many of them are probably the kind of JWs who would never watch an apostate channel, or read an apostate article, but will listen to it coming from Joe Rogan.
