If you want to look superior when you are walking the halls at the hospital after your operation, pack a snazzy bathrobe/house coat/happy coat. All the other men will be wearing the usual cotton hospital issue that makes everybody look like they are in "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest". Also slippers. (The jammies are up to you. If you wear theirs, you won't have to wash yours when you get home).
