    Sounds good, but at what price? Also, dump MS Works..it plain sucks.....the on chip cache seems a bit small, but I may just be delusional at the moment..I would also opt for more ram using XP...

    Valis..I just paid £650 on one of these auctions,i thought 512 ram sounded pretty good?

    Hey that's not bad...I guess I'm just greedy when it comes to ram and usually think of the OS hammering any amount of RAM you might have installed...the more the better is the general rule. My only advice would be to back up to CD on a regular basis..laptop hard drives are the most common problem people run accross...Mobile devices are still as delicate as desktops are...best handles w/care and the notion that one good bump could spell trouble.
