Fantastic video, well worth watching.
It explains (around 7:00) why it's important not to confirm the stereotype JWs expect of "apostates" if we really want to reach them effectively otherwise everything is easy for them to dismiss. The angry apostate is only convincing to those already out.
Also why the WTS bad treatment of people may actually convince people more that they have the truth (9:00)
Why the mental flip to seeing the truth cab be so difficult / challenging (11:00)
Why the born-in belief system is so strong (12:30) and why they want to dumb down the message to make people feel like their beliefs are core beliefs (13:00)
Why the WTS keeps people busy (16:00) - it makes them feel that it's more worthwhile because of the sunk cost.
How the cult prepares people to mentally block out negative information about themselves (17:00)
The appeal of "insider knowledge" that other people on the planet don't have (19:00)
