    ANXIETY

" Aniety is secretive. He does not trust

anyone.,not even his friends, worry, terror,

doubt, and panic. he has away of glombing

onto your skin like smog, and then you feel unclean.

He likes to visit me late at night when I am alone and

exhausted. I never slept with him, but he kissed me on

the forehead once, and I had a headache for two years. He

is a nuisance to get out of the house. He has no respect for

locks or curtains or doors. I speak from experience. It takes

cunning to get rid of him, a combination of anger, humor, and

self-respect. A bath helps too. he does not like to get wet. As

a last resort. If you are not near a bathtub, wet your face with tears."

This was given to me a long time ago. I like visuals dealing with feeling. It's part of my process in healing.

Very interesting OCW! Thanks for sharing that with us, I suffer from anxiety in a huge way. Thank goodness for medication, supportive friends and websites like this, if I didn't have these things I would be in a mess. Coming out of the org is a very long healing process, but with the right frame of mind we can ALL get through this.

    OCW,

I like the visuals too. I may read this more than once because my doc put me on xanex today. It seems that since the divorce has been filed, I can't sleep or eat and have lost a huge amount of weight. Right now, I feel soooooo mellow. I don't know what its made of but, Xanex is a gift from da gods. Hey, maybe I will be able to write poetry again. Since the "bane of my existence" is gone, the poetry has dried up.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Love ya,

    Robyn
