I used to give that talk.
Even when I was all the way in, in the back of my mind I was thinking that I was not really presenting evidence, I was just saying it is so because the bible says its so.
When I first gave it - or for the few years after - there really isn't much info about the prophecies online to research. But what there was did not really confirm any of the history presented in the outline, so of course I had to eject that from my mind.
Cognitive dissidence anyone :)
