I believe the days started getting longer three months ago, just after the winter solstice. But maybe that's just in my part of the universe.

JamesThomas, I'm thinking like you, that after the end of the year, the days began to grow longer. I really don't like it when the clock is artificially altered for "daylight savings time". It's all relative, so they say, but my inner clock gets all messed up. Crossing time zones when traveling is difficult for me too, although so far, it's only been two hours forward or back to deal with.
