Where Does It Say JWs Can't Read Pubs By Other Churches?
We also have witnesses of the Book of Mormon - Cold Steel
Please fuck off. We have all had more than enough of ridiculous cults.
Heaven » My Father looked very suspiciously at my Hobby Farms Home magazine....
Cold Steel said: As he should have, you demonic apostate!
You need inspirational works like Watchtower, Awake and Guns & Ammo.
Haha! Well I am not a fan of the Borg's formulaic writing style for one. Their articles are predictive, ending in "Jehovah is the answer to everything" meanwhile, in the real world, Jehovah fixes nothing.
Perhaps it was the article about "Plan A Girlfriend Getaway On Your Farm" he had issue with. This implies you wouldn't be out in the Field Serve-Us or attending any indoctrination sessions (aka 'meetings' at the Kindumb Hell) but having a good time with good friends doing some fun things.
I don't remember the name of the book that WT published that gave a rundown of most of the world's religions. It covered the basic tenets of those religions in the most dismissive way they could without sounding too pompous. I felt that the book was meant to inform the Witnesses so that they could sound well-read, but as usual, the book was formulaic, overly simplified, and came to wrong conclusions.
Cold steel - "...I still keep the red JW Revelation Climax book with my collection of mythologies..."
Gilgamesh... Nibelungen... Revelation.
Sounds about right. :smirk:
"...'Oh No we cannot accept other teachings!'..."
That's definitely gonna win them over. :smirk:

I'll lay off religion if you leave off your stupid evolution pontifications.
And I'm unimpressed with your feeble mastery of Google Search.

I didn't realise Mormons were evolution deniers. They are even more dumb than I thought they were.
5/1/84 WT p 31 Questions From Readers
Why do Jehovah’s Witnesses decline to exchange their Bible study aidsfor the religious literature of people they meet?
Hence, it is out of wisdom and respect for God’s counsel that Jehovah’s Witnesses do not make a practice of exchanging valuable Bible study aids containing Scriptural truth for religious literature that disseminates error or apostate views
Respectively snipped for space...
That last sentence in Blondies above post is the "out" that a JW can use if they want to defend what they read.
It has to be a "practice" of it before the elders can attempt to do anything. Like so many non scriptural rules the JWs have "something"..... (anything really) can become wrong just by how many times you do it without being "wrong" in the singular form.
