If you folks would be kind enough to try the new audio clips from the Mark Fuhrman radio show and let me know if they sound ok, that would be great. I crunched the original files which were quite large to begin with and would have been hell for dialup users - heh, even for broadband users. Let me know if you run into any problems.

Here is a brief description of the show:

Contains sound files of a radio Interview with Bill Bowen and others discussing the Watchtower pedophile problem on the radio program "ALL ABOUT CRIME" hosted by former Los Angeles, California Police Detective MARK FUHRMAN. The show was broadcast on January 31, 2003 on radio station KXLY-AM (920 AM) in Spokane, Washington state, USA between 3:00 - 5:00 PM. A follow-up segment was broadcast on February 5, 2003 in the same time slot.

    Bill Bowen, founder of SilentLambs
    Erica Rodriguez, JW abuse survivor
"Mary from Spokane" a former JW who called in to the show
"Mike from Spokane" a local director of SNAP (Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests)
"Ken from Spokane" a local evangelical minister
"Pat from Oregon," a friend of Erica's
"Mike from Spokane," a JW elder who called in to the show

    Tim Kosnoff, Erica's attorney
"Mike from Spokane," a JW elder who called in to the show

Mark Fuhrman also mentions Mike Fitzsimmons, who is a news commentator on KXLY.

RUNNING TIME OF THE JANUARY 31, 2003 SHOW: 59 minutes, 1 second
RUNNING TIME OF THE FEBRUARY 5, 2003 SHOW: 28 minutes, 44 seconds

Mark Fuhrman is a retired LAPD detective. He continues his work as an award-winning author and radio show host.

From his book, Murder in Brentwood: "The world does not know me; it knows of me. My private thoughts and fears are still mine. The mistakes I made and the pain I inflicted on myself, the citizens of this country, and the people I love will forever haunt me. This is not a book of justification or excuse, but one of truth. It is not an easy task for me, for all of us hide portions of our lives that we hope will never be judged by our neighbors, let alone the world..."

Mark Fuhrman received more than 55 official commendations during his 20 years with the Los Angeles Police Department. Prior to his police career he was a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, having first enlisted at the age of eighteen. An avid outdoorsman and artist, he now resides on a small working farm in northern Idaho with his wife and two children.

Mark Fuhrman's weekly radio show will soon be coming to the Internet.

Do you care, if I grab these files, and put them up on my streaming server? That way people with slow connections don't have to download a 5 MB file, they can just stream it at a lower bit rate.

No problem TH. These files need to get spread around.

Folks, if you haven't listened to these yet, you should. The responses by Mike the Elder in the first clip are gems. Fuhrman ripped him a new (_x_).
