I see you are back commenting Smithy. Just wondered how things were going with regard to the fires. I know that the news has quietened down but I suspect we have not heard the end of it. It would be good to get a bulletin from the horse's mouth.

Just a brief update SF, here in Victoria as of today there are 7 watch & act meaning keep vigilant about the state of these fires by keeping tuned in to radio stations issuing warnings about the fires.
These 7 separate fires are all still uncontrolled fires burning in the state.
I don/t have an update about the other states that still have fires burning except for the fact parts of NSW had some significant rain overnight ,and its cooler weather today however temperatures are expected to become hot again in the next couple of days.
