We were invited back to do the radio show on www.kfuo.org
It will be on Saturday at 11AM Central Time. Please call in with your failure of the 1914 generation prophecy stories if you like. Or, email them to me and I will share them as I have time.
This is good news, that you're going back to KFUO radio for a "return visit" (pardon the theocratic term). The last show went really well, except it was too short.
Regarding 1914, I remember growing up -- that in the 70's the generation was defined (by the Watchtower publications) as those who were able to see and understand the events of world war #1 being the generation, and so you had to be at least 10 or 15 years old to "understand" and remember the events.
Then in the 80's the generation was redefined (by these same geniuses) as those who merely were ALIVE in 1914. That of course increased the potential number of the people of that generation.
Finally in the 90's the doctrine was dropped altogether as unworkable, since the generation (by either of the previous definitions) was dying out. As Gomer Pyle used to say, "Surprise, surprise!"
