Interesting...Memorial attendance really hasn't changed much in 17 years. It was 27K (and change) last year...and the same in 1998. Meanwhile, the population of NZ has grown by 1 million in that same period (26%).

The 2017 "Ratio 1 publisher to..." has slowly increased to 1:340 in 2017-- the worst ratio in NZ since 1986...31 years. Clearly the efforts of JWs in NZ to even keep up with population growth has stalled.

"Peak publishers" has basically stayed flat, only fluctuating within a small margin since 2008...nearly 10 years.

    Thanks for the info.

Looks like my bros & sisters are doing a very poor job, must have to many distractions, like living a life.

I have relatives in Auckland, they love the 'Cart Witnessing' bcoz they don't have to do a damn thing, turn up & play with their mobiles.

It's only going to get worse, they lost their beloved branch office they loved so dearly, now they are dictated to by a bunch of lacklustre/arshole Australians, oh boy don't Kiwi's love to hate Aussies.

Thanks for the year-by-year breakdown in NZ.

Interesting that the peak number of publishers in 2011 (14,507) has yet to be surpassed over five years later.

Also, the first time peak publishers surpassed 13,000 was in 1995 (13,340). Over 20 years later, the peak dribbles back to the early 14,000s after hitting 14,507. Never before has JW growth in NZ been so stagnant.
