  At http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=34417&item=3310492410 there is the picture of a magazine "Der Bibelforscher" (The Bible Students) from 1914.

  Interstingly the headline says "The current war will not see a victory of those involved, but Armageddon will follow, says Pastor Russell"

  Apparently, German Bible Students went around proclaiming that Armageddon was to follow the war.

  Seems to be one of the more embarassing papers, I could not find it in the index at all.

  there was a post card a while back on e bay.... that was from the early teens, produced by a jw at the time thAt from the south .... that said $1500 reward for any one that can prove pastor russell is a false prophet.... i wonder if the offer is still good????
