  This very popular quote came back to my mind today when I was thinking about what jws in the third world country where I live would do if they should hear about the australian abuse story. This has been the one explains-it-all, excuses-it-all phrase to respond to nasty things going on in "God's house".

  1. Jehovah only punished Israel after that had become apostate and were leaving true worship. By saying "god is cleaning his Org" they are admitting that the Org is Apostate. (they cannot say that everything is perfect, and also claim that things need to change)

  
  

  2. Jehovah released them from suffering after they had repented and reformed their ways, Will the Org change it's bad ways?
  

  3. In bible times the Nations (Assyria, Egypt, Babylon) did not come to correct the worship of Israel, they were simply a tool for punishment. Why is Satan's System correcting God's Org? Why are the Nations stepping in and telling us the correct way to worship?

  My answer to that is. "Well couldn't the catholic church have said the same thing when they to had the same issue and Wt was only to willing to trash them over it.
