Man that has to be a way to go out though. Up therein the sky, living what is probably your life's dream, in a place where relatively few men have ever been and relatively few (at least of your time) will ever go. Still a tragic accident because the nation lost 7 of it's best and brightest. But still......

There is something good to be said about those among us who dream real big from an early age, work real hard for years, and finally reach the fulfillment of their dreams.
I wonder, though, if it's worth it in the end. I was thinking of Michael Anderson who left behind two daughters who will now have to face life without the force of a loving father in it. Was being an astronaut *THAT* important?
