Graduation Ceremonies

Why do JW's celebrate graduation ceremonies? A graduation ceremony is a celebration holding others on a pedestal when, according to JW policy, all honor belongs to God. Why do they celebrate graduations, anniversaries and baby showers, but birthdays are off limits. The Watchtower makes me sick. They make policy and their brainwashed slaves do as they are told or risk being disfellowshipped. This religion should be outlawed. It is sick.

I had always thought that was weird too. maybe they do it because it's not mentioned in the bible?

so when the gift solicitation cards came around I or my family never cared to go or get them a gift because most of the time those graduating were a stuck up pain in the ars to be around.
