In the old testament (Hebrew Scriptures for JDubs) Solomon, David Abraham and many others who Jehovah considered as friends and he used them for various jobs and he blessed them.
Now these friends of Jehovah had many wifes and also conubines, some even had children with these and Jehovah approved.
Jesus comes along and he is Gods son and according to JDubs in subjection to God the father, equal to God the father for other Christians.
What gives Jesus the right to overrule his father and say anyone who divorces exept for reasons of adultry and marries another is a fornicator and will get DFed?
JDubs go a bit further and allow divorce IF the ex is likely to endager a JDubs spirituality but the consider REMARRIENG the crime.
