Hatred is a strong emotion exploited by propagandists. Loaded language is particularly effective in triggering it. There seems to be a nearly endless supply of nasty words that promote and exploit hatred toward particular racial, ethnic, or religious groups.
So the sly art of propaganda can paralyze thought, prevent clear thinking and discernment, and condition individuals to act en masse

    Playing on the Emotions

Even though feelings might be irrelevant when it comes to factual claims or the logic of an argument, they play a crucial role in persuasion. Emotional appeals are fabricated by practiced publicists, who play on feelings as skillfully as a virtuoso plays the piano.

For example, fear is an emotion that can becloud judgment.
Propaganda encourages this by agitating the emotions, by exploiting insecurities, by capitalizing on the ambiguity of language, and by bending rules of logic. As history bears out, such tactics can prove all too effective.

Some people insult those who disagree with them by questioning character or motives instead of focusing on the facts. Name-calling slaps a negative, easy-to-remember label onto a person, a group, or an idea.

The name-caller hopes that the label will stick. If people reject the person or the idea on the basis of the negative label instead of weighing the evidence for themselves, the name-caller’s strategy has worked.

IS THE WORK OF JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES PROPAGANDISTIC...

Of course it is! Was that a rhetorical question??

Consider this line of thought: ( non-thought, actually..)

"Worldly people do not truly love each other like we (JWs) do!" Or, "Worldly people cannot be trusted!"

Just think of anything said during talks at KH's about "worldly" people, and ask yourself, "What exactly does worldly mean? Is it being used properly? If not, what is actually meant by JWs when they use it, and are they correct?"

Or the classic quote the WT used once:

"propaganda TELLS you WHAT to think, while education TEACHES you HOW to think"

Which method does the org use??? Is there any room for genuine critical or analytical thinking, or is there only room for inculcation of pre arranged controlled information?

Please do not forget that Hitler won elections and other demagogues easily rigged them... I do not share Dr. Robinson’s optimism.

Ironic is it not once its realized the WTS has been a misinformation propagandist since its very beginning as a religious publishing house .

The WTS proves clearly that misinformation can be propagated with engaging effect through literature proliferation.

    I remember this.

It's gotta be the most ironic thing they've ever published, on every conceivable level.
