Controller: Yeah I am familiar with the whole line-up. There's really not that much difference in the watch sizes. The ones in those photos look really big, even rectangular. The watch band looks like the milanese loop but like i said, it just doesn't look right attached to the case or even the way it sits on his wrist.

It's like we're analyzing the Zapruder film or something.

Seriously... y'all are worried about what kind of watch the man wears? Even if it is a solid gold Apple Star Trek communicator tricorder...

Of all the things this organization can be criticized over, and held to task for, y'all focus on a GB member's watch.

Nope, ex-JWs aren't bitter... they just have too much time on their hands since they don't have to go door-to-door anymore

Have to agree with UC on this one, there are so many real issues that matter. Namely the protection of child abusers. A questioning JW on this thread would be saying WTF is wrong with these people.

The 18-karat gold Apple Watch Edition isn't easy to find, buy, or even try on.

It will also difficult to return, too.

According to a new report from 9to5Mac's Mark Gurman, the Apple Watch Edition has a unique return process.

Here it is, step-by-step, based on an alleged internal document:

    1. Apple will first inspect the watch with "extreme care" to "ensure that the product is in original condition, isn't engraved, and has no signs of damage or tampering."
    2. Then, a member of Apple's Genius Bar will give the Watch an even closer inspection using special tools like microscopes and a gold weight scale, "to ensure that no gold has been removed from the Watch to be sold on secondary markets," according to Gurman.
    3. Once the Watch has passed inspection from the Genius Bar staffer, the return process can only be handled by Apple Store managers.
    4. Apple asks its managers to store all the returned gold watches in "tamper-evident Apple Watch Edition return bags," which will be sent to Apple's corporate offices.

The Apple Watch Edition also falls under the company's standard return policy, which says you can return the device with its included accessories and packaging along with the original receipt within 14 days of receiving the product, and Apple will exchange it or give you a refund based on your original payment method. Also, you can only return products in the country in which you bought them, and for transactions over $750 — like the Apple Watch Edition — Apple will mail you a refund check within 10 business days.

Here is a better picture of the watchtower I linked earlier:

(Credits to Stumpy for finding a better resolution.)

    Some nuggets from the watchtower:

Can You Trust Religion Regarding Money?

Do the religions in your area employ direct or subtle pressure to obtain money? Is that in harmony with the Bible?

    WHAT DOES THE BIBLE TEACH?

The apostle Paul said: “It was with working night and day, so as not to put an expensive burden upon any one of you, that we preached the good news.” (1 Thessalonians 2:9) Paul worked as a tentmaker to support his ministry.Acts 18:2, 3.

HOW DO JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES MEASURE UP?

This magazine obviously costs money to print and ship. Yet you will never see commercial advertising or appeals for money. The emphasis is on dispensing Bible truth.
