It seems that most of the postings on this site are from the United States, England, and Australia. There are a few others, but I believe that most are from those 3.

That could be a result that computers and internet are more easily available in those countries. Plus, do to the fact that most postings are from those countries, we also have the most complaints.

What I am wondering, is if other countries feel the same pain that is talked about. Is the df'ing rate the same, is the WTS quite as strict? Is there as much of an uproar over the issues that have been talked about here?

Again, with limited internet access, maybe the witnesses there are not as aware of what is going on. Are these other countries growing? I think that with the communication that the internet allows, there is going to be many more leaving in the next few years. But, that is because of people getting educated from various channels, such as internet, radio, tv, newspapers. For those without access, are they going to keep growing? And, do they realize the extent of how bad things really are within the organization?

That's the prime reason that moved me posting after lurking: the differences here in Italy from most of the stories told from everywhere, and the "Easygoingness" the hierarchy here in Italy undergoes.

I'd like to discuss properly this point.

I'm an American, but I've been living in different places around the world. I lived in Hong Kong for 14 months, and saw a Watchtower once in that time. I don't know if the person was a JW or if she had just been handed the mag. I never saw a KH, although my sister made quite sure to give me the address from the yearbook.

I've lived in France for over 7 months, and have never seen a JW or a KH.
