Now that is one happy smurf!!!
Where did the Smurf joke come from? It has to do with the way JWs view smurfs as being very evil and demonized. There are all sorts of silly urban legends among the JWs about how toy smurfs have come alive and terrorized people and even raped women at kingdom halls.
It's all so stupid that we can't help but poke fun at it.

Thank you Elsewhere for clearing this up! I've wondered what the smurf deal was all about myself. I must have been a bad JW for a very long time. I let my kids watch the smurfs!
